Originally made in Scotland in the town of Maughline, their production was quickly spread all over Europe. Instead of paper, these are made from genuine fabric, which has been confined within a layer of crystal acetate. The delicate blades are engraved with the Sajou name. These scissors are adorned with a passementerie pompom in red, green and white tones to match the tartan. Quality scissors can be distinguished by, among other things, their pairing marks. This is a sign that the blades have been perfectly adjusted at each stage from the beginning of their production. These and all Sajou scissors are made in France. A linen case trimmed with the same plaid fabric that can also be embroidered is available as well as a matching Thread Winder and Thimble, made using the same manufacturing process. Scissors Size: 4" Presentation: The scissors come in a box with the same tartan plaid. The thread winder and thimble are packaged individually.
