All thread cards and organizers are printed on heavy board and bear the names of towns in Normandy which was the linen producing region of France. This region was known for its cotton mills. In the past, linen thread was mainly sold on this type of card. All of the sets include 6 thread cards in a variety of colors and are presented in small blue and white boxes. Each one features a thimble depicting a different fable: Milkmaid and the Urn, The Crow and the Fox, The Hare and the Tortoise, The Wolf and the Stork, The Two Pigeons, The Fox and the Stork.
