Loading... Please wait...The handles of these scissors are made of boxwood. This very hard wood acquires an incredible polish over the years and, sometimes can be confused with vintage ivory. Boxwood was always used in the past for a wide range of knick-knacks and notable rosary beads with Saint-Claude in the Jura region being the capital of this production. This is where the handles of these scissors are made. The fine, delicate blades are engraved Sajou. Quality scissors can be distinguished by, among other things, their 'pairing marks': this is a sign that the blades have been perfectly adjusted from the beginning of their production. These scissors are adorned with a natural linen passementerie pompom. All these products are MADE IN FRANCE.
